Cultured Marble & Cultured Granite

We get the question all the time: What’s the difference between cultured marble and cultured granite? Cultured marble, otherwise known as cast polymer is in its basic description a mixture of marble dust, pigment for color, and densified resin that is cast onto a variety of molds.

Cultured granite uses virtually all the same methods used in production of cultured marble except we replace the marble dust and pigment with a crushed granite/aggregate blend that creates its own unique granite look.

Since cultured marble and cultured granite are made out of the same resin and are installed using the same methods, one is not more durable than the other. Both are created beautifully and are easy to clean, non porous products.
